This speakeasy-style bar and distillery specializes in cocktails that are a mixologist’s dream. The cocktail menu is broken down into vodka, gin, rum and moonshine selections. Popular pours include the Bellweather, made with Weiss Straitjacket Gin, grapefruit cardamom syrup and orange liqueur; the Real Macaw, a twist on a traditional rum runner served in an adorable parrot shooter; and the Ambition, featuring Weiss Royal Rum, espresso from Clawson’s Sabbath Coffee Roasters, Demerara sugar and chocolate bitters.

Located in a repurposed 1904 flour mill, this Corktown distillery is serious about Michigan. Over 90% of the ingredients used to make their vodka, gins and whiskeys come from state farms. Their newest product, Fox River Michigan Whiskey, is a bourbon that can be traced back to Ann Arbor’s Wing Farms. Another popular pour is the Butcher’s Cut Bourbon, an ode to the distiller’s grandfather who lost a finger in his butcher shop.
